In Colorado the threat of closing them caused enough panic that the governor decided to leave them open.
All non-essential businesses in Maryland will close Monday, March 23 rd, at 17:00pm.

As I said before, the way those guidelines are written almost any business can find a loophole to allow them to stay open. We're open, but technically I'm not sure we are really deemed essential, except when you twist the guidelines. I half expect someone to come by today and tell us we have to close.My new boss says we're essential until someone stops by and tells us we're not. We may park inside the yard fence to be less conspicuous. I'm not venturing into any stores except Dash In for breakfast and a quick stop in somewhere for body wash. I really thought I had another bottle in the linen closet.

Our corporate overlords said that our facility is essential due to federal regulations regarding the materials that we produce. We did have a lot of questions after the presser yesterday but we found which provision maybe covered us but the addendum (COVID-5) that was issued later specifically included our industry.
How did the chicken search go this morning, I take it went well because I heard a farmer say some one stole 20 of his chickens this morning.
They want people sedated so they don't go, "Hey....wait a minute...."
