I take the ones that dissolve on your tongue, the CVS store brand. Seem to work well for me. Yesterday was friggen horrible.....Hopefully today will be better 
Does anyone taking claritan notice any sleep issues? I just started giving my daughter, 7, Claritan and she just seems sleepy all the time, which if any of you have met my daughter you know she is NOT a sleepy acting kiddo, but on the upside she got rid of the horrible cough she had been dealing with for months. Sucky pediatrician, momma figures it out herself

Interesting! I had to stop taking Claritin because I couldn't sleep at night if I took it. My doctor switched me to Allegra. No problems with sleep now!

Interesting to me as well....she sleeps, I just don't think she is getting "good" sleep, if that makes any sense......I tried benadryl last night, so we will see how she does today, and maybe I will have to switch her to benadryl.....Speedy70 said:

Try doing that while you're learning to ride a motorcycle. Do you cough from allergies?I started out with a stuffy nose and now a cough.It seemed to get worse since Friday.Maybe it is a cold,I don't know.Now I am starting to sneeze a lot.Ugghh! I hate this.

I've never had problems with allergies before, but last year I slept with the windows open one warm spring night, and (I think it was the tree that was so close to the window) woke up feeling terrible. I had weird symptoms though...nausea and the usual stuffy nose. I took Claritin, but it made my heart race and I couldn't sleep, although I was tired, so I just had to wait it out. Luckily I haven't had a problem so far this year.Gemmi said:

Poor baby Nicholas is suffering bad from allergies. His eyes were all red, he can't breathe well, and he was spewing green goobies from his nose. Other than infant Tylenol, I don't know how to sooth him. Hopefully the ped will offer a solution to his situation. Poor baby.

Get some baby saline drops for his goobies. That will at least help clean his little nose.

i'm so sorry! my little one has fallen into the allergy pit as of yesterday and today he's been a real "joy" to be around. no naps, leaky nose and non stop fussytown.BadGirl said:
