I take the ones that dissolve on your tongue, the CVS store brand. Seem to work well for me. And I don't get that shaky thing going on.MDTerps said:Went yesterday to foodlion to get a couple of things and most of all to grab some claritin D. The check out lady made me print and sign my name on this piece of paper. Asked why, she said some misuse of the product is being done. Kids crushing and snorting it.... I could hardly breath more or less snort it! When I got home I noticed she didn't charge me for it![]()

Does anyone taking claritan notice any sleep issues? I just started giving my daughter, 7, Claritan and she just seems sleepy all the time, which if any of you have met my daughter you know she is NOT a sleepy acting kiddo, but on the upside she got rid of the horrible cough she had been dealing with for months. Sucky pediatrician, momma figures it out herself![]()
Interesting to me as well....she sleeps, I just don't think she is getting "good" sleep, if that makes any sense......I tried benadryl last night, so we will see how she does today, and maybe I will have to switch her to benadryl.....Speedy70 said:Interesting! I had to stop taking Claritin because I couldn't sleep at night if I took it. My doctor switched me to Allegra. No problems with sleep now!
Been there. Done that. I swear, nothing worksteverheart2002 said:Zyrtec and Flonase![]()
Try doing that while you're learning to ride a motorcycle. I had to take something, but nothing that would make me tired.janey83 said:Yeah I was feeling fine until I woke up Friday morning, and I felt like I had the flu! Couldn't breathe, body hurt all over, I was sneezing up a storm....went out and bought some claritin and benadryl at CVS, and I'm finally feeling much better. I hate the pollen!![]()
Ponytail said:This is the worst I've experienced since I was a kid. Tis pollen is kickin my butt too. Calrinex, Sudifed and Afrin are the combo during the day, Clarinex, Afrin and nyquil at night. I figured I'm either gonna quit sneezing or passout from heart failure. This shtuff sucks!
I've never had problems with allergies before, but last year I slept with the windows open one warm spring night, and (I think it was the tree that was so close to the window) woke up feeling terrible. I had weird symptoms though...nausea and the usual stuffy nose. I took Claritin, but it made my heart race and I couldn't sleep, although I was tired, so I just had to wait it out. Luckily I haven't had a problem so far this year.Gemmi said:Do you cough from allergies?I started out with a stuffy nose and now a cough. It seemed to get worse since Friday.Maybe it is a cold,I don't know. Now I am starting to sneeze a lot.Ugghh! I hate this.

i'm so sorry! my little one has fallen into the allergy pit as of yesterday and today he's been a real "joy" to be around. no naps, leaky nose and non stop fussytown.BadGirl said:Poor baby Nicholas is suffering bad from allergies.
