Tried 'em. They work, but are a PIA! Do you honestly think a cat is going to sit still for that amount of time while you glue them on? Especially every two weeks or when they fall off.
I would love to see you doing that.
I wonder if he could get rhinestones put on those...

Ooh! What a great idea for Ruby!! I tried to paint her nails once. It did not go well.

My aunt used to have a poodle whose nails were always painted pink. Her name was Strawberry (the poodle, not my aunt ).

I deleted it, along with the one of me wearing the fairy costume. I'm a man, damn it!

You look handsome in Old Navy.

Does anybody know why a cat would "forget" how to retract her nails? My Reese cat will stretch or start kneading and then go to walk off or laydown and gets tangled because her nails are still out. I have to massage each paw to get them retracted.

They sometimes just get stuck. If you flex the toes just right, the nail should come right out.

Fear the wrath..... Get him declawed. It'll cost you more but go to a vet that does it with a lazer. I've personally witnessed the procedure and the lazer cauterizes the blood vessels and nerve endings and as soon as the cats are awake they are on their feet. There are no torniuqtes (sp?), bleeding afterwards or pain meds. I don't know if any local vets have a lazer but I know St. Charles Animal Hospital on DooLittle Drive in Waldorf does. It's not as cheap but it's worth it. I only have my 10 year old cat done but if any of the younger ones were destroying my house I would not hesitate.

I spoke to my vet about the laser procedure. I was teary eyed just talking about it, but she assured me everything would be fine. Cost is $250-$400 depending on the time and additional things such as meds.

That would be an easy yes! And since I'm not birthing anything ever again, luckily I don't have to make that decision.
