Child's Name: Jocelyn Kaylon Ruffin

Location: Surrey Square Lane, Forestville Maryland

Details: The Maryland State Police at the request of Prince Georges County Police Department have issued a Maryland Child AMBER Alert for Jocelyn Kayon Ruffin. CHILD: Jocelyn Ruffin is further described as being 2feet 6 inches and 35 pounds. The child was last seen wearing Grey Sweat Pants Pink and white shoes and a brown suede coat. Child also has her hair done in corn rows. LOCATION: The child was last observed at approximately 9:41 pm in the area of Surrey Square Lane, Forestville, MD. The child is believed to have been abducted by the suspect. SUSPECT: Antwone Tyree Prince is described as being 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. The suspect may be wearing Black and white hoodie sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes. Suspect has a tattoo of a cross on the upper part of his right arm. He is also believed to be wearing several layers of clothing. Anyone with information is asked to immediately call 911 or Prince Georges County Police Department at 301-499-8005. It's PG County. You know with about 97% certainty what the race of bebe's daddy was.

Yes I ASSUMED that a kid with corn rows and a guy named Antwone Tyree
were black, but if my kid was missing, I'd want ALL pertinent information to be broadcast.
I just think it's PC :bs: that a major identifying characteristic is left out. We're forced to assume this deals with black folks and then called racist for assuming criminals are black. That's BS

I just took it right off the msp site with the info they had up... I was left to assume they were black since i was the last white person left in PG :whistle:

You know that's the first thing I noticed too. Total Bull####, if I were the parents I would be furious at the incomplete description.

I really don't understand how it could be kidnapping when it was his own kid. People seem to forget that a kid isn't the property of just one of the parents.

I always have a hard time with these cases too. It has to do with whom has legal custody. Heck, even if grandma has custody and momma steals the kid, it is still considered kidnapping, which is a Federal offense. So sad.

Sometimes there is a reason that parent should not be alone with the child such as extreme abuse. It's not about property, its about protecting the child.

Those cases where there is abuse are probably very rare and extreme. Women today use these kids as pawns instead of working together to raise the child.
