Set it to Silent. But this will also turn off weather alert tones.

I've done that. Can't find my magnifier lenses, so so use the phone zoom to be able to read something small.

I turned those damn alerts off years ago - it’s a system that will be/has been abused so it will be no use to anyone in the future. IMO

Anyone remember the snow alert calls that St Marys Co sent out at 2am several days ahead of the snow storm? My phone rings that time at night I think someone has died.

Alerts are always screwed up some how. I guess at least it wasn't the nuclear missile incoming one that Hawaii got.

I have an S9 and I searched on "Wireless Emergency Alerts" and was able to check on my settings. The location is: "Connections-->More Connection Settings on my old phone.
