Instead of pretending reality isn't real, it would be nice to explore *why* this happens. I don't believe black people are inherently more violent than white people; I'm convinced it's societal. But how, why, and how to fix it doesn't seem important to the elected officials we hire to take care of sht. They seem to be way more interested in stirring racial divide and encouraging us to hate each other.

You must wear rose colored glasses everywhere you go. Exactly what can/could an elected person do? Pass a law? You deal with criminal behavior by prosecuting and incarceration. Not coddling.
