I thought the same thing - there was nobody across the aisle that saw this guy and what about the person in front or in back of them. What made no sense was she woke up and saw him, but turned her head because she was embarrassed, then ran her hand thru her head........ Was it already in her head before she saw what he was doing again? Also, aren't the flight attendants suppose to go up / down the aisle to make sure everything is okay and especially before landing.

I agree, but she was only 21 and maybe she was just afraid because when you're sitting next to some stranger on a plane or train - you don't know of their mental state where maybe she was afraid of him and what he would do.
