I didn't read that in the Equiry but, a friend of mine's horse was killed by lightning in Charlotte Hall a few months ago. She had just purchased him not even a week before...absolutly stunning 4 year old TB/Percheron (American Warmblood) gelding. I heard it was not a very pretty sight. :( Really sad but I'm not sure what you can do about it?
