Triggerfish said:Yes, that's exactly what I meant. I want to buy direct. A bedroom set. Does anyone know where an Amish market is? I know in summer there is an Amish farmer's market in front of the charlotte Hall library. On 5 going north a few miles past Leonardtown there is I guess a Menonite grocer on the left hand side.

Steve said:The Amish market (the big one) is directly across from St. Mary's Landing, in Charlotte Hall. You can't miss it, heading north on Rte 5. It's on the right, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Park, walk into the bowels of the produce market, find the Amish, and ask! They are friendly; just standoff-ish. Be direct; tell them what you want, and you'll get directions to a builder of great furniture.
RoseRed said:Not sure if anyone mentioned the Amish Heirloom Furniture place in Sandy Bottom. It is at the corner of 235/Clarkes Landing Road.
