I'm afraid to see what's parked in my parking spot (next to the dumpster) when I get to the office this morning.
I am happy to report that my parking spot (next to the dumpster) was empty. Somebody's busted workboat was parked in from of the shop doors though. Typical Monday morning.

i was surprised by the amount those McCormick-Deering 15-30's were selling for.
the turner brothers collected that old stuff because they hated to see it turned to scrap.
did you see what the plunkett hit-miss engine sold for?
Was the Plunkett the small engine that came from a meat processing shop in Loveville? If that's the one, it brought probably the most of any of the stationary engines there. I don't remember the final price but it was around $2000?... most of the engines sold for $100s. Heck, the Palmer I wanted but missed getting my hand in the air in time, went for $20.

I popped the hood on that and it it looked pretty clean ...360 I assumed it is. I thought I'd hang around and see what the F-350 diesel truck went for, but was unable to be two places at once. Danged three-ring circus they had going there...I needed a bidding partner.

That Palmer with a strait pipe and Lake injection, would be the Shizzle in a Jersey Skiff

Didn't realize it at bidding time but the yellow spray paint was the mark of death. Went there Monday to haul out more treasures and saw a lot of stuff marked with yellow paint all mashed up into piles to be loaded into the scrap bin. It was a sad sight to see. Especially after bidding on some of some of the condemned.

I'm surprised he didn't get the front end loader that came off that WD. Saw it mashed up in the scrap pile yesterday along with a few other tractors from down that end of the line. My boys bought the Major, MC Crawler and half an 8N.
