Sorry to bring back an old thread - I still have my old engagement ring. It's been sitting in a jewelry box for a while now. I don't want to throw it off a bridge, as was suggested earlier in the thread. Sell it? But where?

Good Luck. I've been trying to sell 2 diamond rings that I took back from her. Either no one is interested or you won't get nearly what you paid for it.

Actually, it was a Christmas gift, a yellow VVS diamond worth a boatload. The engagement band I have too, but it's not nearly as pricey.

They may just become family estate pass-downs...
