Girl came into my office and told me she and her husband finally came to a decision as to what to use as "our song". Her husband picked Rascal Flatt's "Winner at a Losing Game". Did she even listen to the words?? I think her husband is trying to tell her something.

CMT : Song Lyrics : Winner at a Losing Game Lyrics : Rascal Flatts
:lmao:

I had an ex try to win me back by telling me every time he heard this certain song he thought of me, and he played it for me... it was all I could do to not laugh in his face and ask him if he had even listened to the lyrics. It was "What Might've Been" by Little Texas.

My husband wanted the song "Barely Breathing" to be our song because he liked the music to it. He never listened to the words. It was about a guy who is telling his girl that she is suffocating him in their relationship and he's slowly dying. Needless to say, that's not our song.

STEELERS NATION!!
I like Guns n Roses "Used to Love Her but I had to Kill Her". That song makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about my ex-wife.

Mine and Larry's song is "Kyle's Mom's A #####." Such fond memories of romance and slow dancing....

I "lended" the song "Forever Love" by Gary Barlow (obscure song, to be sure) to my sister in law to walk down the aisle to.

That one's about a guy who didn't think he needed a relationship, and then one day realized that the person he was with made him believe in the concept of love and how he couldn't imagine his life without her.

It's a beautiful song... I'm not sure she understood just how much of a gift it was when I let her hear/use it for her own walk down the aisle.

"Love it has so many beautiful faces
Sharing lives and sharing days
My love it had so many empty spaces
I'm sharing a memory now I hope thats how it stays
Now I'm deep inside love and still breathing
She is holding my heart in her hand
I'm the closest I've been to believing
This could be love forever

All throughout my life the reasons I've demanded
But how can I reason with the reason I'm a man

In a minute I'm needing to hold her
In an hour I'm cold, cold as stone
When she leaves it gets harder and harder to face life alone
Now my dreams are filled with times when were together
Guess what I need from her is forever love"
