Hi Pilot, I use them now, they're the ones I posted to you earlier. D actually visits my home everyday to take care of my Golden puppy, I couldn't do it without her!!!

Hi, Pilot. I don't know about places to board, but I suggest you call D (as in "Dee") at "Pawfessional Pet Care." They're listed. They'll come to your house each day, or more than once a day, to feed, walk, clean up after, brush, medicate, play with, and in general keep company with your cat(s)--and dogs. And fish. And probably birds, turtles, etc.

They're ultra-reliable, reasonable, bonded, insured--and they care about the animals.

They come to Calvert County?

I don't think so, right now they're only doing Charles. I think there are others who do visit Calvert though. Try Petsitters Unlimited, Tails and Scales, Pet's 2 care 4.

What about St. Mary's? That's where I live!

We recently boarded our pup at Pet Paradise Kennels which was recommended by our vet who happens to be the Well Pet Clinic, (which btw I highly recommend for great service at reasonable prices.) I would have liked to had a pet sitter come to our house to watch him but could not find one in the area ( St Mary's Co ) We always have one of my son's friends come by daily and check on our kitties but dogs are definitely more high maintenance ...
Pet Paradise is off St Andrews Church Rd close to Leonardtown , here is their website ....

Hey, thanks Rane! I live just off St. Andrews Church Rd., so Paradise Kennels would be exceptionally convenient. Not that that's my primary concern. First priority is making sure my cats are safe and happy. But it's nice to know that there's a good place close to where I live. Thanks!
