Hey Bob, why is it that everyone who has something nice to say about Anna, you say we must have a pitiful life or how unloved we must be. I am neither pitiful or unloved, but I AM an entertainment JUNKIE. That does not make me a bad person. Im sure you have your jones on about something and maybe we wont agree about it, But that wont make you any less a person. ANS gave us e-junkies years of entertainment. So what if she was messed up, arent we all. Or are you perfect?
Blah blah blah...

Get life..

I'm not impressed by some junkie that not only killed herslef but killed her son, i don't find that entertaining in the least, and find it disgusting that the press is covering her death like she was royalty or a sitting president. What kind of message are they sending our kids?

You being a "fan" is a form of acceptance of her lifestyle. You tuning into her show every week lined her pockets with money that she used to buy her drugs, the same drugs that probably killed her son..

Sorry, I vote on a daily basis in a number of ways. I don't like the way Michael Jackson lives or treats little kids, I don't care how good his music is, I won't buy a CD, or watch a video, or do anything that may aid in supporting his lifestyle, I do the same with anyone else in the entertainment industry, to the best of my ability.

I don't find stupid or drugged very entertaining..

Ok Bob, get off your high moral horse. It is called entertainment and it comes in all forms. You watch sports and we know some of them do drugs and cheat on their wives. Are you condoning that. And I dont see where it is sending anyone messages. Teach your children to make their own right choices in life. Thats your job.

That's her problem. That's like saying if I develop a drug problem and overdose, it's my clients' fault because they gave me the money to do it.

And in teaching my kids I don't glorify those that live like she did..

I'd rather glorify those that do things for their community, that tend to do the right thing.

I guess buying a Michael Jackson CD so he can buy some more Jesus Juice to seduce another 8 year old little boy is ok too? I mean you may buy the CD, because after all he's an enerteiner, that gives him money, it's up to him what to do with it. Who cares if he chooses to take your money and rape little boys.. it's not your fault what he chose to do.

Try to find someone your kids can look up to, to emulate when they get older, or is this the type of person you want them to emulate, Michael and Anna??

To block out Michael you've got to boycott more than just his own music. He owns the Beatles catalog along with a bunch of others. Buying anything he has a piece of is putting money in his pocket.

But in support of your statement, my kids and I have a very open discourse on how people live their lives and who should be admired and who shouldn't. Luckily, so far, the only persons I hear them express admiration for are Christ, of course; certain historical figures; and real people that impress them. For instance they all admire an instructor at school who is mother of six, teaches English, and they think has more patience and understanding than anyone. I've never heard them express a desire to emulate an entertainer or sports figure. They have, of course, said they wouldn't mind having that much money.

Scalped in Prince Frederick on Main Street. I go to Dottie. I really, really like her and the whole place. It's more expensive than most places in Calvert but the whole experience is really nice, they make you feel special.

The next time you go, tell Margaret I said hi. She used to do my hair. :howdy:

I'm not saying you're right or wrong, but how do you know that she killed her son? I thought it was still under investigation? Do you have a link that proves otherwise?

Meth was found in her babies system in September of 2006 (after she was born) and an autopsy found it in her son's system when he died.

Where did you hear this? I didn't hear anything about the baby having drugs in her system. I wouldn't surprise me, but I hadn't heard that.

You're not supposed to glorify, you're supposed to point and laugh. "See??? This is what happens when you make poor choices in life - you turn into THAT loon!" I love to point out celebrity nosedives to my girls :yay:

The comparisons to Marilyn Monroe are starting to irritate me. Marilyn had a career - she was an actress with some very entertaining movies under her belt. Anna Nicole is famous for being famous, with absolutely no talent whatsoever.

CNN is doing a spot right now about the similarities between ANS & Marilyn Monroe. Very eerie. It's kind of like Marilyn Monroe was either re-incarnated as ANS or ANS took celebrity wannabe-ism to a whole new level.
IMHO, Anna was a “manufactured” celebrity-other than somewhat similar looks there is/was no comparison to Marilyn.
There is some speculation Anna may have vomited and aspirated fluids.
There was also talk of her attempting to drown herself not too long ago…Howard found her in their pool, the bodyguard did CPR then as well.
RIP Anna.

Excellent point. No offense to Anna Nicole, but when I spotted at least two news channels running nonstop coverage of her death, I wondered if she merited all that. It took me a couple of minutes to realize that this was another juicy tabloid story like O.J. or Chandra Levy. She died as she lived, as a lurid tabloid headline.

They said it a couple of times on Fox news yesterday.

From the link:
She became an international star and she was a good mother to DANIEL; there is no doubt that her son loved her. They lived out of each other's pockets while he was alive and now they can finally be together again in Heaven.
Just once I would like to see some skeezy celebretard die and their friends and family say, "Nah, she was a drug addicted slut and I'm sure she's being poked in the ass with Satan's pitchfork right this minute."
