annoying cat behavior

Another thing my smallest cat does is digs for food in the trash. Sometimes I come home and have to clean up after her. As for leaving the plug in the tub to stop the cats from going in there, that wouldn't work for my one cat. He waits for the water to drain. He's pretty smart!

The last one to leave the house needs to set the trash outside or ....
get one of those trash cans on a glider that you can slide into the cabinet and shut the door.
I did that latter to keep the dogs out.

my cat morris has the weirdest habit of ripping things open. we come home from the grocery store and set the things down in the kitchen, and we come back and he has managed to rip open cereal boxes, and the cat food bags. he's also the one who destroys the toilet paper all time by shredding it. and my other cat "tank" you can't leave a cup of anything on the floor, because he'll come right along and stick his paw in it, and purposely dump it over.

My cats are crazy. One attacks my son and has an extreme foot fetish. He sleeps on hubbys feet every night. He also drinks from the sink, toilet, plants anything but his bowl. He cries the minute I get home for water and won’t shut up till I give in. The other one rolls the toilet paper off the roll every damn night. He also finds sleeping on my stomach or back appealing. I wake up every morning to cat tail in my face. And why oh why must they fight and run from one end of the house to the other every morning at 5am. Another thing is the cry and chatter all the time, looking at me like I know what they are saying.

Kiki digs in the trash, too, but not for food (that can has a lid on it). She'll get in the wastebaskets and find things to play with - tissues, dryer lint, sticky hair roller sheets.

I used to have a male Maine Coon, and he would knock on the shower door until you opened it and walk in and sit on the shower seat. He loved it. When we first got him he would sit on the side of the bathtub and play with the bubbles.
