Another failing grade for the St. Mary's Co. School bus transportation

Ok folks,here we go again.......I'm willing to give them some time to work out the kinks in the bus routes.But once again i trucked 5 kids to school this morning due to the fact that the bus never came down our road.Same bus,same problem as last year.I've called the transportation office and left my message.I will patiently wait and see if i get a call back.Last year it took 3 days before anyone returned my messages.Tomorrow morning should be just as interesting.Anyone else experience problems this morning?

I've had pizzed Moms calling this morning with the same story. One called the Dept. of Trans and was told that since the Middle School High School routes were split this year the drivers are confused.

Give em' time. Things are always a nightmare the first week.

Leonardtown High School.When i was in the office checking the kids in,another student came in with the same problem.The problem will get resolved,just amazes me that it's happened twice now.

It's only the first day of school and I'm sure it is hectic. Just be patient and things will get better.

catching the Bus

A friend of mine called transportation last week to have her child reg for the bus, she then told Transportation the road they lived on, and she was told they do not keep lists of where children are picked up and dropped off,That the child was to flag the bus down when he saw a bus coming. Was also told the Bus rte started at 7 am and that was the best they could tell her.

I remember on many occasions smelling an invisible funk cloud of alcohol circumferencing around my bus driver.

My kid's bus was here within five minutes of it's normal time. I can't decide it that's because of, or in spite of the fact that the school superintentant was on the bus greeting each student as they boarded. :shrug:

it will get better it takes a while to get back into routine alot of drivers have new routes this year!!

My understanding is they do, at least most of them do, especially if there've been changes. But if there are gaps in how the transportation has planned it out, there could still be problems.

yes but they do what is on the paper. if certain routes are not on it then its the dept. of transportations fault

The High School and middle school buses just came in the neighborhood together (3:35). I think usually come at 2:30 and 3.
