Another Hurricane Threat

Tropical depression near Cuba is expected to become a major hurricane by next week. Some models have it curving out to sea south of Florida, the American model shows a landfall on the Florida Gulf coast near Cape Coral. All models predict it will become a hurricane.

Not common for a November hurricane. Only 4 have been know to hit Florida in November.

Most of the models are in agreement that it will hit Florida somewhere in the Gulf Coast side, too early to say where. The good news is that it lost a lot of strength crossing the Yucatan and is not expected to be a hurricane when it makes landfall.

Recently, I was in the vicinity of Tampa and drove thru Dade City.... you get a good idea of the weathers wrath.... cattle still wading in farmlands, little huts lying to the ground... people camping in the front yard... and Dade City wasnt hit as hard as other places....
