this is so stupid.

Now for the rest of their lives where ever they live they are going to have people protesting outside of their homes because "a register sex offender" moved in.

I hope the parents are happy they ruined their kids lives instead of just handling the situation themselves.

So when does it become child pornography?

These kids took some pictures for their personnal use, but say they have a nasty breakup and one of them sends them into the web? Does it become child porn then?

How can it not be child porn on one computer, but become child porn on another?

And if the "owners" of the original pictures are not liable for creating/possesing child porn because "it's not child porn to them", then when they give the pictures away the how can the new owners be charged with possesion of child porn - it wasn't child porn when it was given to them.

Which could create all sorts of problems, because sooner or later the child porn industry will just say the kids gave them permission to have the pictures they created.

Child porn is child porn - no matter who creates it or possess it.

This is a valid point. I didn't think about the breaking up thing until today. These are excellent points... I just don't think you can go after the person themselves...

So when do you go after them - when they create this video all by themselves with no adult helping, although they now have a brand new Ipod video and Playstation 3 sitting in their room and their parents have no idea how it got there? Them "oh, my computer got hacked, and my video is gone!" When someone finds it.

I mean, if it is okay for some group to create child pornagraphy, then I am sure sooner or later some enterprising sicko will figure out how to pay for it from some unsuspecting kid
