Suicide is the eigth leading cause of death in the U.S., but isn't in the top ten for Maryland. As for the bridge factor: firearms, suffocation, and poisoning account for 89.5% of all suicides in Maryland. The other 10.5% would include jumping as well as intentional crashes, wrist slashing, and all the other novel ways.Tonio said:Dumb question - does our area have a high rate of suicidal depression?
