ANOTHER STRAIN HEADED OUR WAY AND IT WILL NOT BE STOPPED

Yet another strain headed our way. Biden orders the Chinese coming in to the U. S. to be tested. Well, good for politics. Have people coming from China tested for Covid. Well, what about Chinese citizens going to a number of other Countries first and then to the United States? Do you think they will be tested? Very unlikely. How about ships coming in from China? Spread it to someone on the docks and then from there it takes off. And of course our wide open border. Chinese coming in through the border?

How about this - The Department of Homeland Security says that hundreds of Chinese nationals have attempted to illegally enter the United States through the southern border since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China.

“Some 328 illegal immigrants from China have been nabbed jumping the U.S.-Mexico border so far this year, according to Homeland Security data that raises the prospect a coronavirus carrier could sneak into the country via the border,” The Washington Times reported. “Three other people from South Korea — another country with rapidly spreading cases — have also been arrested at the border, as have 122 people from the Dominican Republican, where the coronavirus has now been detected.” They don't mention about the possibility of any that may have got away or were undetected.

The United States is considering sampling wastewater taken from international aircraft to track any emerging new Covid-19 variants as infections surge in China, as UK-based health experts estimate about 9,000 people a day are now dying of the disease in China. Recently it was increased to 11,000. And that may be a low number.

The proposal of testing wastewater by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would provide a better solution to tracking the virus and slowing its entry into the US than new travel restrictions announced this week, three infectious disease experts said. The US and a number of other countries have said travelers from China will require mandatory negative Covid tests.

You get the idea. - It will NEVER, ever be stopped. Not with a wide open border. And no restrictions in all of the other Counties. As in all viruses, it will continue to mutate. Will it be more severe? Less severe? China claims they are burying 11000 people a day. Maybe more. Testing of waste water is a waste of time. We learned that testing of waste water from previous strains that the United States already went through didn't do anything to slow the spread. The US will say another MRNA vaccine will be needed for this latest strain. As usual, they will say it is safe and " EFFECTIVE". Maybe so. Maybe not. We learned from before, even though people are "fully vaccinated" they still got the virus. The claim from those that like the shots is that it will make the virus "less severe". I haven't seen any proof to not support or support this theory. In the meantime, once again, we wait and see. Of the 11000, what are the age groups? Did they have previous medical conditions that weakened their immune system? However, 11000 may sound high. But, considering how many people are in China is it a low number? How many are fully vaccinated? Probably very few. But, does the current vaccines provide any protection? It may not. It may be able to avoid previous vaccinations. Therefore, rendering any previous vaccinations useless. It will depends upon how and where in the latest stain it mutated. THE WHO and CDC would like to obtain information about the latest strain from China. However, China does not appear to what to cooperate.

I wish they can come up with better identifications than B 4.1.54 or whatever crap they came up with to identify strains. I suppose there is some reason behind their creativity.

BTW - :sarcasm: for #1, because when Trump proposed that, Nancy went to Chinatown to show solidarity with her Asian friends. You all may forget hypocrisy and stupidity, I don't

I'm not concerned. If it follows trend, it may be more infectious, but it will be far less noticeable, fewer and lesser symptoms. Let it run it's course. By this time, nearly everyone has been exposed and have some level of natural immunity lessening the symptoms. There will always be, as in every flu season past, those that become seriously ill and may die. Panicking won't change anything.

Personally, I think it is more scare tactics in their hope they can con people in to more vaccines.,

Well, another respiratory virus in the County which apparently isn't Covid or the Flu is going around. People test negative for the Flu and Covid. But, they have trouble breathing. Might be RSV in adults. But, RSV is not typically severe in adults. I thought at first it was false negatives. It may still be false negatives if the tests do NOT detect the latest strain of Covid. Similar to vaccines, they may be targeted to only what they know is going around at the time. And therefore, would not detect a new strain that isn't known.

New respiratory viruses have popped up every year for years, this is nothing new. People with healthy immune systems got sick (or not) and got over it with little trouble - and strenghtened their immune systems for the next time. Immunocompromised people had a tough time of it and maybe got worse with another issue on top of it. It doesn't have to be "false positives" or part of the Flu or COVID.

The virus I have - neither the Flu, COVID or RSV. 4 NEG tests for COVID, BTW. (1 just today, because I am concerned for my co-worker who is immunocompromised and I want to make sure that I don't infect her before she comes back to work today).

My sinus issues are chronic - I take stuff for that all the time. When I get a feeling that I'm coming down with something - I make sure I keep my saline rinses up and decongestants, etc. That's because I KNOW I am prone to get an infection at the slightest bit of congestion from a virus. This time, for a variety of reasons, (cold/warm weather being the main one) I didn't catch it just right and I got worse.

However, since I had COVID in March 2021 -anytime I get the slightest inflammation in my sinuses - it seems worse than it used to be. This time I felt like I had COVID due to the dry cough, and deep feeling of congestion (and it was nasty colored) AND, loss of taste (but, I have that with very bad sinus infections, anyway) Never a fever, never any body aches, never any massive headaches.

If it's a "strain" that doesn't show up in the test - so what? It's not COVID - it's just another damn virus. I got antibiotics on Tuesday afternoon, went to work on Thursdsay and feel even more clear in my sinuses today. Looking back on my medication history with my doctor, it will NOT be unusual for me to need another antibiotic. They gave me Augmentin, and the last 2 years(I get about 1 a year) gave me something else after the first 10 day course. We'll see.

All of these - COVID, RSV, Flu attack the respiratory system. So I got the well-tested vaccine for Pneumonia. Even if I catch the other three the lungs will be fine and my other symptoms will be managable.

lots of #suddendeaths they seem to be cleaning up the gene pool of the weak and gullible to a small degree. Funny how it's a linear graph directly aligned with how boosted you are and the number of deaths.. I always thought we should allow the democrats free drugs to sedate themselves away in the basement until they earned the darwin status.. but this is just as good.

More deadly jabs for the stupid.
Exactly correct. I talked to a MD that said the Pfizer vaccines are linked to heart issues. In addition, she said just because Moderna is not issued, DO NOT think they are safe. She said the are ALSO LINKED to heart issues. I can't believe our government has been advertising them as SAFE AND EFFECTIVE. Pure insanity! I am surprised they have been getting away with lies.

Exactly correct. I talked to a MD that said the Pfizer vaccines are linked to heart issues. CDC is being pushed to finally acknowledging what everyone knew a long time ago. In addition, she said just because Moderna is not mentioned as causing heart issues, DO NOT think they are safe. She said the are ALSO LINKED to heart issues. I can't believe our government has been advertising them as SAFE AND EFFECTIVE. Pure insanity! I am surprised they have been getting away with so many lies.

My cardiologist thinks mt rapid heart rate, including tachycardia episodes, the past 2 years is an after effect of the Pfizer 2-part epoxy.
I had a physical in December, doc did not mention boosters, or the flu shot.
