ANOTHER STRAIN HEADED OUR WAY AND IT WILL NOT BE STOPPED

Yet another strain headed our way. Biden orders the Chinese coming in to the U. S. to be tested. Well, good for politics. Have people coming from China tested for Covid. Well, what about Chinese citizens going to a number of other Countries first and then to the United States? Do you think they will be tested? Very unlikely. How about ships coming in from China? Spread it to someone on the docks and then from there it takes off. And of course our wide open border. Chinese coming in through the border?

How about this - The Department of Homeland Security says that hundreds of Chinese nationals have attempted to illegally enter the United States through the southern border since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China.

“Some 328 illegal immigrants from China have been nabbed jumping the U.S.-Mexico border so far this year, according to Homeland Security data that raises the prospect a coronavirus carrier could sneak into the country via the border,” The Washington Times reported. “Three other people from South Korea — another country with rapidly spreading cases — have also been arrested at the border, as have 122 people from the Dominican Republican, where the coronavirus has now been detected.” They don't mention about the possibility of any that may have got away or were undetected.

The United States is considering sampling wastewater taken from international aircraft to track any emerging new Covid-19 variants as infections surge in China, as UK-based health experts estimate about 9,000 people a day are now dying of the disease in China. Recently it was increased to 11,000. And that may be a low number.

The proposal of testing wastewater by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would provide a better solution to tracking the virus and slowing its entry into the US than new travel restrictions announced this week, three infectious disease experts said. The US and a number of other countries have said travelers from China will require mandatory negative Covid tests.

You get the idea. - It will NEVER, ever be stopped. Not with a wide open border. And no restrictions in all of the other Counties. As in all viruses, it will continue to mutate. Will it be more severe? Less severe? China claims they are burying 11000 people a day. Maybe more. Testing of waste water is a waste of time. We learned that testing of waste water from previous strains that the United States already went through didn't do anything to slow the spread. The US will say another MRNA vaccine will be needed for this latest strain. As usual, they will say it is safe and " EFFECTIVE". Maybe so. Maybe not. We learned from before, even though people are "fully vaccinated" they still got the virus. The claim from those that like the shots is that it will make the virus "less severe". I haven't seen any proof to not support or support this theory. In the meantime, once again, we wait and see. Of the 11000, what are the age groups? Did they have previous medical conditions that weakened their immune system? However, 11000 may sound high. But, considering how many people are in China is it a low number? How many are fully vaccinated? Probably very few. But, does the current vaccines provide any protection? It may not. It may be able to avoid previous vaccinations. Therefore, rendering any previous vaccinations useless. It will depends upon how and where in the latest stain it mutated. THE WHO and CDC would like to obtain information about the latest strain from China. However, China does not appear to what to cooperate.

I wish they can come up with better identifications than B 4.1.54 or whatever crap they came up with to identify strains. I suppose there is some reason behind their creativity.
FOLLOW UP- Now it has a name XBB 1.5, also known as Kraken is the latest strain. Once again, they say it is highly contagious. Some claim even more contagious than any other strains. However, doctors say it is very mild. It amounts to pretty much a mild to a bad cold. They also said the so- called "updated booster" is not effective against this latest strain. If that is the case, then why do they keep creating boosters if they are not effective? Some say it will make the virus less lethal. Howver, there are very few cases of the strain being lethal. Others will say it will make the virus milder. The virus is already mild according to the "experts".

My cardiologist thinks mt rapid heart rate, including tachycardia episodes, the past 2 years is an after effect of the Pfizer 2-part epoxy.
I had a physical in December, doc did not mention boosters, or the flu shot.
Doctors not connected to MedStar are usually more imformative.

They need to start giving them catchy names instead of numbers.

No-Bid Covid.
Achoo Flu
Dino-Rhinovirus
Apparently they heard you. They now named the latest new version of the mild Covid "Kracken". They think it will scrare people more by the "horrific name". Total BS. Very mild virus. Most don't even know it is Covid if they get it. Still very contragious like many of the other strains. However, the left over sinus congestion that can turn in to sinusitus is a bit bothersome. It can last for months after the bout of Covid.

Is he part of the Medstar program?

All of these - COVID, RSV, Flu attack the respiratory system. So I got the well-tested vaccine for Pneumonia. Even if I catch the other three the lungs will be fine and my other symptoms will be managable.
Covid has mutated so many times it is managable as well. Very mild. The main thing is substantial sinus congestion that lingers for months according to the doctors. RSV is mild in adults. I am told the flu is mild this year. However, I haven't had it. What is mild for some may not be mild for others.

I've been living with chronic sinusitis since I was a young boy.

I'm not concerned. If it follows trend, it may be more infectious, but it will be far less noticeable, fewer and lesser symptoms. Let it run it's course. By this time, nearly everyone has been exposed and have some level of natural immunity lessening the symptoms. There will always be, as in every flu season past, those that become seriously ill and may die. Panicking won't change anything.
Exactly right. And very well said. However, those that want to spread fear will be disappointed that they couldn't scare you. One thing in particular I noticed with each strain they introduced is that "this one is a thosand times more contragious than the last one". And then ten thousand times more contagious for the next, hundred thousand times more for the next and so forth. They never want to bother to tell people it is mild. Similar to a bad cold.
