Possible light weight entry for the Dakar?

Hmm wouldn't think so..

This is the Husqy 250... to go along with the Husqy 500

BMW also released a new 450 line for competition only (for now) good choice for Dakar?.. and a new 800 GS another good choice for Dakar?.. They still have their 650 single, plus a de-engineered 800 twin that's marketed as a 650..

So this is your idea of a joke?
Or did BMW buy Husqvarna?

Yes they did. I THINK the 450 was a joint venture between Husqy and BMW.. and near the final stages BMW acquired them.

Still waiting to see the Husqy's on the BMW showroom floor..

Just went through the Honda web site, they only two strokes they still sell are the CR250R, CR125R, CR85R and the CR85R Expert, all dirt bikes.

Yaeh, pretty much small MXrs. Remember the 750 2 stroke three cylinder Kawasaki made? Jesus H!
