Antique Sedan DeVille

Anyone interested in picking up a Cadillac for restoration? The body and interior are in pretty good shape. It's drivable, needs some turn signal work and the air doesn't work.

We put it on Craigs list but thought someone here might want to work on it.

Railroad

Routinely Derailed
I had a '67 Sedan DeVille - a beautiful car, chocolate brown with a french vanilla vinyl top. My dad bought it new in '67. I had to give it away because I couldn't sell it, and the memories tied up in it were too hard for me. I hated to let it go, but had to.

It is a '91 same blue as that link Becky posted. 4.9 motor 130,000mi.
All good 'cept the signals a/c and serpentine belt makes noise when you start her up.
I listed it on the classifieds on this site today, unbeknownst to Becky.

You will probably get a lot of calls from the #1's or BCP's favorite people.

I had one of these.. great ride until the steering fails.. check the rack and pinion for signs (like broken bolts) or you could be careening down the highway sans steering..

1991 is antique?

yep... you can put antique tags on it....

You won't need insurance but you also won't be able to drive it everyday....

Of course with that big caddy engine, you won't want to drive it every day because of the gas prices....

It'll make a great restore project tho.... it's already got most of the extra little doo dads....

What you are describing are "Historic" vehicle tags (not antique) and per MVA "A historic vehicle in this category must be insured by a Historic Vehicle, Show Vehicle, or Antique Vehicle insurance policy."

Of course with that big caddy engine,

Umm..what? A 4.9L is "big"? The 472 (7.8L!) in my '72 Cadillac..that was big. But they made a bigger one even..

I feel old now. I still drive my '69 Bronco around....with regular tags on it.

#1 maybe, they could make it a donk

but my favorite people? dont think so, unless maybe you put a fart can muffler on it. Even then,, Dont see it.

No. 1991 = "Historic" not "Antique" vehicle tags. 20 years old = Historic renewable tags, 60 years old = permanent Historic tags.

My deepest apologies.... :buddies::killingme

I had Antique and Historical mixed up..... It's old.... and it brings back memories of the days when we drove cars with one hand drooped over the steering wheel.

It's old....
