Any collard greens fans out there?

Supper's Ready
Wanted to bump this to say that I made this recipe for yesterday's Thanksgiving pot luck at work. Two different people told me they were the best tasting greens they ever tasted (I have to admit that felt good to see it independently validated - even though it isn't really my recipe except for slight modifications). One person I know also told me that one of these said it before knowing I prepared them.

But I'm not really saying this to toot my own horn. Just saying' it to let you know it's a real good way to prepare them. And it is the season for greens.

I agree with the canned spinach and other greens.

I disagree with the asparagus. I'll eat the Del Monte brand right out of the can. Pickled in a jar is also good.

I get the white asparagus in the jar or can and marinate it in a nice italian salad dressing and serve it cold as an appetizer. Even people who claim they never eat asparagus in any form usually like it.
