Any stores have corned hams?

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Here goes one of the tubs. Now for some sammiches.

Do you leave a fair amount of the fat on yours? My Nana taught me to trim most of it off before stuffing it, but then again she would put an ass load of salt in her stuffing mix.

Luckily for my co workers we work in a large manufacturing facility because I was all :geek: this am. Gotta love what copious amounts of cabbage and kale does for the ol' GI tract.

Ya I trim quite a bit off. It's gonna boil and float to the top anyway. Salt help but it already has an ass load in it. To corn them they soak them in a brine solution. Usually Kosher salt.

I was actually looking last night at what it actually takes to make corned ham. I may try that for when I make stuffed ham for xmas. Will only do one though in case I boogar it up. I'll still have a store bought corned ham as a backup. LOL

Oh and as for the second part of your post I am with ya there. We just rode home from the store with most of the windows in the car down for the same reason.

Would THIS face lie?
I posted this in another thread... Just a FYI...

I know of at least 2 people that were a little late ordering theirs and when they opened them to stuff em, they were fresh hams but labeled and priced as a corned ham. They both called the store back and I haven't talked to them since then. Not sure what the store said

Corn those babies!

LOL No I did not have enough time once I got my hands on those to corn them and get everything else done for Thanksgiving.

Might have another deer coming in a few hours to skin out and dress. Got the last of the geese breasted out yesterday after fishing. LOL Starting to feel like I should just open up a butcher shop.
