At approx. 2 a.m. this morning a trooper stopped a vehicle in the Smallwood area traveling towards La Plata. The plates were stolen. The chick bolted. The dude jumped back in the car and proceeded to drive away. Stop sticks were put out. He ran through them. Next stop physical barricade of cops. Wham Pow into a cruiser. Backed up and hit another. Attempted forward again. Cop fired warning shot. He gave in. Car loaded with drugs. Chick apprehended.... GREAT JOB Charles County police force!

Did they shoot the guy? They should have. Attempted murder of a police officer (ramming the cop cars) should be met with maximum deadly force.

Why oh why do they make it so hard on themselves? Instead of just stopping when pulled over and accepting the consequences of having drugs in their stolen car, they rack up additional charges by fleeing and eluding, destroying government property and attempting to murder police officers in addition to numerous traffic violations and putting many other lives in danger. Oh yeah, because they're STOOPID

I'm going to guess no one from the "cops don't really face danger" crowd will be speaking up on this thread.
Good work on the cops' part. My only complaint is we're hearing about a "superficial wound" instead of a headshot.
