MY problems have started already.....the itchy eyes, stuffy head, plugged ears, eadache, scratchy throat, shneezing.....and it's only April!

I did find something that helps though; but it's one-a those nasal spray things. /:-\ If ya wanna know, PM me.....stuff works GREAT!

The time of year has come again, where my medicine cabinet looks like a pharmacy.....sprays, Tylenol, Chloroseptic, Listerene.....

DON'T'CHA LOVE SPRING AND SUMMER?

Why is it a secret? :eyebrow:

Well....no.....I just didn't want to post unsolicited info.

The spray stuff's called NASACORT. Use it with Extra Strength Tylenol for the headache; and Chloroceptic for the post-nasal mess, and you're golden.

It's a three-step process.....

What?!
I've been taking Cat's Claw for other issues but that seems to be helping with my allergies too.

Hubby used to get allergies and then someone told me to try raw honey and mix it in tea. It's been 2 years and hubby has not had seasonal allergies. May be you might want to try it. I got the honey form the health food store in Leonardtown.

Raw honey mixed with hot tea, I'm going to assume.....what kind of hot tea?

Is this an every night/year-round thing, or just during allergy season?

You don't have to put the honey in tea. You can put it in just about anything. Honey and cinnamon combined is a natural remedy and helps so many issues. Search it on Google or whatever your favorite search engine is.

You know I was just being a schmaht-a**, right?
Seriously, thank you for the suggestion.

I know that Cat's claw is a nutritional supplement, but I'm funny about taking things without doing A LOT of research first; cuz of my meds. I'll look into the Cat's Claw thing.....

Ask your doctor about it. Might help with other issue you have also.

I'm not trying to start an argument with you, but I just found Cat's Claw on Wikipedia (and we know how accurate THAT is) /:-\. It addressed allergies, but allergies to Cat's Claw. I didn't find anything about treating or preventing allergies. It DID mention acne and some other dematological uses though. Oh, well.....

I think Kwillia said something about tea and honey. I might try that.

I've read up on cat's claw a decent amount. Only a few mention helping with allergies. It seems to be helping me which is why I thru it out there

NO.....NO.....NO.....please don't misunderstand. I wasn't trying to be indignant or ungrateful for the suggestion. I guess I just haven't read enough yet. But like I said, because of my meds, I'm really leery about taking just anything; even if it is only a vitamin-type or herbal (tee-hee)supplement; so I either research the H*ll out of it or finally give up and ask the Pharmacist or my Dr..

"Herbal supplement" :lmao:

I could sit and eat honey right outta the jar with a spoon; but I also heard that TOO MUCH isn't good for you either. That's okay. I know how to make cornbread; cast iron skillet style. OH YEAH.....a reason to make and eat more cornbread. KEWL!!!

You can put it hot tea or coffee. I gave it to him for a year, anytime he drank coffee or tea which is 2-3 times a day. Anything you take as a supplement or natural remedy usually takes about 3 months to notice a significance difference.

So, it's prob'ly too late in the year/seasons now to do anything to help the allergies. I mean, by the time this rememdy starts kickin' in, it'll be the end of July. But, I do suppose 'better late than never' applies.....
