Anybody Else Looking Forward To This?

This morning on ol' Nellie Belle, I saw the caked-on yellow left by the morning dew; easy to see on a white car. THAT is who Nellie Belle is, BTW.....
I AM NOT looking forward to when it warms up in the mornings and dries out.

So, it's prob'ly too late in the year/seasons now to do anything to help the allergies. I mean, by the time this rememdy starts kickin' in, it'll be the end of July. But, I do suppose 'better late than never' applies.....

Absolutely, Try it it may help with the severity or may actually kick in and start working. No harm, it honey.

Yup /:-\ I'm in the same situation. I said something to my Dr. about being inside in the A/C vice being outside with the yellow. He gave the obvious answer: If it helps.....

If I have to be outside I carry the 'ol nasal spray, KLEENEX and I'm gonna start carrying Visene A/C.

the lawn service is cutting the lawn today so I know what I will be doing all afternoon (sneezing and coughing and trying to catch my nose from running). I am so not looking forward to this. :(. I wish there was no such thing as allergies.

I'm gonna be my own thread spoiler.....
You mentioned lawn service cutting the lawn today......
Not long after I moved into my place, I was out cutting the grass one afternoon, and an older neighbor from across the street came over and asked me how much I charged.....to cut the grass.

What I should've said was, 'make me an offer I can't refuse.'
But, instead I said, with a smirk, 'I don't charge anything.' ' I cut it cuz I have to. 'OH, I'm sorry,' neighbor-lady says.

our grass was too long it needed to be cut 2 weeks ago so its a big mess right now with clumps of grass all over the land but it won't be raked by me as i am spending as little time outside as I can due to allergies.

I go to my MD every year when the pollen gets the way it gets 'round here with the same allergy problems. I asked him during one visit if it was a bad idea to stay inside, in the A/C, vice going out in the yellow cloud and deling with it later. Doc told me; and I paraphrase, 'If you've got A/C; even window units, it's better than going outside.

Yeah.....kinda common sense.....

BTW, I may have said this already, but I scooped the pine needles out of the gutters for the first time in months. The pollen was like powder. I'm paying for it now.

Sounds crazy.... but

It helps, someone told me about this (I thought they were crazy) but run the spigot with warm water, cup your hand and fill it with water then breathe the water up into your nose, then blow the water out.
The pollen gets in your nose when you breathe outside and this cleans it out.

I guess the same effect as a netti pot.
