You’re having a hard time and lately you don’t feel so good
You’re getting a bad reputation in your neighborhood
It’s alright, it’s alright
Sometimes that’s what it takes
You’re only human, you’re allowed to make your share of mistakes
You better believe there will be times in your life
When you’ll be feeling like a stumbling fool
So take it from me you’ll learn more from your accidents
Than anything that you could ever learn at school

Don’t forget your second wind
Sooner of later you’ll get your second wind

It’s not always easy to be living in this world of pain
You’re gonna be crashing into stone walls again and again
It’s alright, it’s alright
Though you feel your heart break
You’re only human, you’re gonna have to deal with heartache

Just like a boxer in a title fight
You got to walk in that ring all alone
You’re not the only one who’s made mistakes
But they’re the only thing that you can truly call your own

Don’t forget your second wind
Wait in that corner until that breeze blows in

You’ve been keeping to yourself these days
Cause you’re thinking everything’s gone wrong
Sometimes you just want to lay down and die
That emotion can be so strong
But hold on
Till that old second wind comes along

You probably don’t want to hear advice from someone else
But I wouldn’t be telling you if I hadn’t been there myself
It’s alright, it’s alright
Sometimes that’s all it takes
We’re only human
We’re supposed to make mistakes
But I survived all those long lonely days
When it seemed I did not have a friend
Cause all I needed was a little faith
So I could catch my breath and face the world again

Don’t forget your second wind
Sooner or later you’ll feel that momentum kick in
Don’t forget your second wind
Sooner or later you’ll feel that momentum kick in

He had enough
He couldn't take anymore
He'd found a place
In his mind and slammed the door
No matter how they tried
They couldn't understand
They washed and dressed him
Fed him by hand

Yeah! I've left the world behind
I'm safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life
I'll decide not you

Withdrawn he'd sit there
Stare blank into space
No sign of life
Would flicker on his face
Until one day he smiled
It seemed as though with pride
The wind kissed him
Goodbye - and then he died

Yeah! I've left the world behind
I'm safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life
I'll decide not you

Keep the world with all its sin
It's not fit for livin' in
Yeah! I will start again
It can take forever, and ever, and ever
And ever, but I'll still win.

[SOLO (Glenn)]

How many like him,
Are there still
But to us, all
Seem to have lost the will
They lie in thousands
Plagued and lost
Is nothing worth this bitter cost

Yeah! I've left the world behind
I'm safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life
I'll decide not you

Keep the world with all its sin
It's not fit for livin' in

[SOLO (K.K.)]

Beoynd the realms of death.

Frankie died just the other night
Some say it was suicide
But we know
How the story goes

With his six string knife
And his street wise pride
The boy was a man before his time
And she knew
All their dreams would come true

But ya see, Frankie was fast
Too fast to know
He wouldn't go slow
Until his lethal dose
And she knows
He'll finally come too close

[Chorus]
Well, on with the show
Going on with the show
Come on baby
No, no, no
Oh my, my, my . . . [repeat]

He was bad
He was never good
But one thing that he understood
And she knew
All those lies would come true The time has come and
He's paid his dues
Suzy finally got the news
She always knew
This day would come soon

[Chorus]
[Chorus]
He was stopped on a dime
With a switchblade knife
Some damn punk went and
Took Frankie's life
And she knew
She'd have to pull through

Broken down, with his broken dreams
With a wink of an eye
Said Suzy, listen to me
You must go
On with the show

Go on with the show
Going on with the show
Come on baby
No nono
Oh my my my my [repeat]

Oh baby

I can't believe nobody beat me to this:

Goodbye, cruel world,
I'm leaving you today.
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.
Goodbye all you people,
There's nothing you can say,
To make me change my mind.
Goodbye.

Lots of kids killed themselves in the 80's listening to that song.

here is my contribution however

I have never felt such frustration
Or lack of self control
I want you to kill me
And dig me under, I wanna live no more

One who doesn't care is one who shouldn't be
I've tried to hide myself from what is wrong for me
For me

I want to taste dirty, a stinging pistol
In my mouth, on my tongue
I want you to scrape me from the walls
And go crazy like you've made me

One who doesn't care is one who shouldn't be
I've tried to hide myself from what is wrong for me
One who doesn't care is one who shouldn't be
I've tried to hide myself from what is wrong for me
For me

You, you are so special
You have the talent to
Make me feel like dirt
And you, you use your
Talent to dig me under
And cover me with dirt

One who doesn't care is one who shouldn't be
I've tried to hide myself from what is wrong for me
One who doesn't care is one who shouldn't be
I've tried to hide myself from what is wrong for me

There was a jumper, she stopped her car at the very top (135ft) got out and jumped off the bridge around 245pm Saturday. There were many witnesses to this incident both on the bridge and boats in the water. Many boats in the area came over to the area where she went under and marked the area for the rescue attempt, which turned into a recovery situation and the body was recovered I believe early the next day, by means of the sonar equipment on a dive rescue boat same as they did a couple of weeks ago in the Patuxent. They did close the bridge down for awhile which proably caused quite a backup trying to get on the bridge, since they were doing the work on the WW bridge, but about 200pm the backup heading north from Va. was only back to the weight station before this incident started. Havent heard any ID. on who the jumper was, only that it was a cau. female in her thirties.

Suicide is interesting to me because typically it's a young person with their whole life ahead of them - you have to wonder what was so bad that they thought they'd never get past it.

Now this woman - only in her 30's - will never meet her dream man, never have kids or see them grow up, never make a new friend, never start her own business, never anything. It's just over. Suicide is almost ALWAYS a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Unless you're terminally ill or something, tomorrow comes and you get past whatever was bothering you.

It's just short-sighted, selfish and stupid.

Yes, it is short-sighted, selfish and stupid. However, she chose to not wake up another day and face her demons. She is done with it....poof-be-gone her problems. There are many, many people who never meet their dream man, never have kids to watch grow up, never find that true friend they can count on, and never make anything useful of themselves. There are lots of people who grow old and die that never made a mark on this world. No one will ever know if this was her fate... she chose her end... that is that. Yes, I realize there are those she left behind that are now scarred and changed forever. This suicide leads to new chapters in the book of their lives.

Heard this exact same thing on Sunday from one of the bar patrons who talked to the dnr guy who had gone out on the boat.

Most of us have only had a glipse of what these feelings are like. To people who have them, it is very hard to to determine how deep they really go.

:tap: I have a question to somebody that may have known her. Was Michelle's last name Hall before she got married? You don't have to answer out in the open, reply by PM.

Just heard this morning that the body was not recovered this weekend but washed up this morning on a beach just east of the bridge. Have not heard of the ID yet.
