We use Dr. Dhillon, and I'm not sure how he is about vacs...
But why would you not want to get the vaccs done just because your breast feeding??
My chap is being breastfed, but we are still getting her vacs done this week....
Two separate issues:
Many people choose not to vaccinate their children at all - ever. There are side effects to some vaccines that can sometimes end in fatality.
This is really RARE though. I've also read about a condition that some kids have that they can't be vaccinated. I can't remember for the life of me what it is, though.
I think she's just one of the parents that chooses not to vaccinate her child. I would never take that risk, but she's allowed.
The breastfeeding: some pediatricians do not agree with breastfeeding a child after a certain age and get very cranky with you if you continue to breastfeed.
So, she wants a pediatrician who won't give her a hard time about breastfeeding beyond a certain age and not vaccinating her child.
Though, I thought vaccinations were required for school... so I don't know how that works.
