Anyone serve on a carrier?

I was on the Saratoga in 92, when we accidentally shot 2 sparrow missiles into the bridge of the Turkish Ship Mauvenet.

I was on that deployment too. That was my second one on the Sara.

After that is was small boys and P-3's.

What time frame did you serve on Midway? I was on USS Worden CG-18 1975-1976 out of Yokusuka. We escorted Midway often, usually as ATC and anti-aircraft/sub defense.

Late 80's. Don't remember specific years.
