Sent this in an email was wondering if maybe y'all could help with my Q too.

Do you know what dog laws are in MD because that poor puppy (so young can't even bark yet) has been left alone for 48 hours outside no shelter. He had no shelter in the storm we had nothing. I heard him whining at 3AM I am sure he is all wet and cold. Now he is by the shed curled up in a ball in mudd.

Check the regulations for the county where the dog is located. Generally you must provide food, water, protection from the elements, shelter, etc.

There are lots of laws but you need to call Animal Control immediately and also call the Sheriffs Office. I am with Catt...whom did you email and where are you located?

I emailed this to a friend to see if maybe she knew... It's a cute lil boxer pup BTW and the family just moved in but has not been here

Call somebody or go get the puppy. It burns me up that people don't take care of their animals. Wish I could help, but I have 2 already.

Do not hesitate to call Animal control, ASAP. That poor pup needs shelter, food, water..

OK here is the thing they come here around 2, and I am not sure if they are feeding him or not but then they are gone for the night. I really wish I could have hopped that fence last night to bring him in from the storm

I would have somehow gotten over that fence and taken that puppy, at least for the rainy night. That poor puppy.

All you fraking buttinski biatches need to butt out.

If you absolutely have to do something call animal control, just dont be too surprised when they dont find any violations.


all the other thinely vieled suggestions to help are illegal, and i personally would be pissed if someone let my dog go or took her away becasue they dont have their own life.

You should post with your real ID. :rolleyes: Ever heard of tongue-in-cheek comments? I certainly wouldn't "take" the dog but I would call an animal organiztion to check on the welfare of the dog. I'm sure you are aware that in rare instances animal abuse and neglect does happen.
