the only reason i said what i did as most people down here where i live say my dog is only for hunting and they keep them outside with barely any interaction they go out and feed/water and give it a few min of attention then off to the next fun thing they want to do which is not spending time with the animal. they also leave them outside year round. that is why i said what i did. guess none of you have ever seen it so you don't agree i am done u all can say what you want but from what i have seen most of them don't count them as part of the family here.

I know a ton of hunters. I do not know one that treats their dog badly. I do know a few that keep their dogs outside but they have dog houses with straw in them. They also interact with them on a daily basis.

My parents have raised Malamutes for years. They are outdoor dogs and they stay that way year-round. They get plenty of attention. Should they bring their 190 lb. furballs inside during the winter?
