I was worried about those when I first got them but I've never heard of them letting go. Just make sure the camera part snaps into place.

Thanks. Camera was free anyway. Came with waterproof case that had a scuffed up lens which I just took off.

put the helmet on, have someone screw the mount down with 4 inch screws

It's easy to find parts like a new case or just a replacement lens on the internet. You can get different backs that allow sound


I've found that mounting it to the bike can cause engine vibration to distort the picture, like heat waves on a hot day.

I am cheap. I took the back off and used duct tape to hold it in.

Dont leave that tape on there too long, duct tape can do funny things to painted finishes.
