We are so open to foreigners, even though we get the bad rap all the time, but we teach these people to be who they are, and after that training, when they go back to their own countries, they see how bad things are and they blame us for it. Human nature, just the way it is.

I say cut them off. With fewer big buck foreign students, maybe college rates would go down and more U.S. kids could get in. Supply and demand does work. More slots left open - you have to do something to fill them.

My guess is that most all of these kids have never been to the Middle East. They are likely well-off sons and daughters of Middle Eastern folks who have relocated to the US, and have a romantic vision of the homeland. I doubt that any one who had actually lived through the harrassment and oppressiveness of life out there would be out complaigning about wanting to go back to it.
