Spiders are amazing. I took pics of this one in my butterfly bush but I couldn't focus well enough while trying not to crush the tiny red spiders webs around the awesome web/spider I had the other day.I would have posted this pic. This bad boy was making a patch in his web that looked like the zigzag pattern previously described.. I like to go out at night and watch them spin webs. They are good to have around, eating up mosquitos and other garden nasties.. You should never kill spiders, it's considered bad luck.

What about snakes on the steps? :twitch:

Like this one? I took this pic last week. Daisy found him...sort of. I think she knew something was there, and once her eyes focused on what was right in front of her nose, she didn't like what she saw, and was outta there. I think you and Daist share a phobia, though your reaction is somewhat worse than hers. As far as I could tell, Daisy was breathing just fine.

Daisy killed a mouse outside this weekend too.

How is Daisy? She hasn't posted in a while. :roflmao:

I took away her 'puter priveldges after she chewed a hole in my good chair, trying to get to a bone that was under it. :ohwell: She's not nearly as funny as she used to be.

The look on her face watching the partially paralyzed mouse was pretty funny yesterday though.

I guess you had to be there. It was funny. Even I had never seen a mouse doing what appeared to be a backstroke, on concrete before. Daisy was looking at it like, "WTF is that"? She kept raising her paw as if to thump it one more time but she just couldn't go thru with it. She's such a woman sometimes.

I finished it off with the shovel, but must have struck a nerve...literally. Damn thing was jumping all over the place with back leg twitches. :lmao: With that, Daisy was outta there. THAT was just too much to take in for one day it think.

Take it up? I had to quit! I got tired of trying to beat her azz, and not being able to connect! Not to mention, cleaning up after her with a hangover wasn't too pleasant. :lmao:

Aww :poorbaby:

You have cats and should be used to things like that.
But they have the courtesy of KILLING it, not just maiming it so it's a twitching pile of flesh. :barf:

Then I just take the shovel and fling the body into the woods. :yay:

FYI, Cats NEVER simply kill anything. They play with it until it's last twitch. You just don't see it until it's dead.

At least Pixie has the courtesy to dig a hole for her bodies...
Then maybe I can get her to come dig a bunch of holes so I can give them a proper burial. :duh:
