Every small town out here has a DG. Like Van Buren, IN with 780 pop has a new DG. The town has lost 100 residents in the last 10 years. Its the home of Weaver Popcorn, the DG is across the street from Weaver catching everyone before and after work.

Even (I guess it's considered) Helen, MD now has a Dollar General, and this year a new one opened in Marbury (south of Indian Head, MD).

DG also just opened one on VA-218 in the middle of nowhere between Dahlgren and Falmouth.
