What's My M3

Well, are you?

I'm not, though I have a 1 in 3 chance of depression which I relate entirely to George W. Bush and his dumb decisions! :lmao:

I am low on depression, not likely on anxiety and PTSD and am medium on bipolar, which makes sense because I get REALLY happy REALLY easy, with an M3 score of 28.

I got red flagged for question 5, thoughts of suicide, and I am the least likely person I know for that but, I try to answer questions honestly so, I don't think "do I REALLY think about offing myself?" and more "You know, every time I have to fill out another form or do paperwork, if I was dead, I'd never have to do it again!" when I get a question like that which, to me, doesn't make me suicidal. It makes me rational!

:yahoo:

So, kooks, come out into the light.

I will tell you flat out, one of the reasons our politicians do NOT focus on mental illness when it comes to guns is because most of them have been, or are in therapy and KNOW they are crazy and have all sorts of personality disorders and that they are not about to write themselves into restrictions.

:buddies:

My plan here is to normalize insanity because, in my view, MOST of us are nuts in some way or another and simply are worried about what others may think of us and hide things like a Lady GaGa or ABBA fetish but are NOT homicidal maniac crazy and, to me, we have a HUGE need to become knowledgeable, and comfortable, about what is 'OK' crazy and what is truly a danger. Like, for me, if there was a video of me driving alone listening to Slayer, you'd have me locked up in a second and destroy the key. However, you'd want me as a neighbor, especially when the zombies come...

Not in De Nile, but I'm of the opinion that rating yourself thru one of these tests may actually do more harm than good, even in fun.

"Oh, the purely arbitrary Interwebs personal evaluation profile says I'm probably depressed. Oh, that's depressing....."

It's like a COSMOS woman's magazine test.... I don't put any stock in those either.

These things...

At any time in your life have there been phases or periods when you have:
20. Had more energy than usual
21. Felt unusually irritable or angry
22. Felt unusually excited, revved up or high
23. Needed less sleep than usual

If you answer "Sometimes" to each of them, the test says you are a medium risk of being bipolar.

You mean I am not crazy?! :jet:

I scored a 20, which I'm pretty sure is misleadingly low.

Bipolar just means 'alive and aware'. By today's standards, if you aren't at least borderline bipolar, you aren't experiencing life.
