Troops have until Oct. 1, 2027, to purchase the AGSU, after which the ASU will become the Army's optional dress uniform.

A significant policy update features a name change for the patch soldiers wear on their right shoulder to show wartime service.

"We also made a big change to what a lot of soldiers call the 'combat patch,'" Sanders said.

The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia Former Wartime Service will now be called the Shoulder Sleeve Insignia Military Operations in Hostile Conditions.

And don't forget now the men who think they are women can sleep in the women's barracks and use their bathrooms.

"Hostile" sounds so unfriendly; so does "Military Operations". They should call it something else. Like maybe Shoulder Sleeve Insignia Missing Mommy. And give it to everyone to be more inclusive and not hurt any feels.

Right sleeve (Army) have always been combat patches... But if you served in more than one ilunit in combat, you could choose. Dad had 3 or 4 to choose from.. 1st Army (big capital A), 9th Inf (girl scout cookie), or 1st Cavalry (horse head on Black and gold)

And this is a way back machine back to WWII pink and greens..

Our Class A uniform was Green Jacket and Pants, now it's Green Jacket with "pink" pants.


Our dress Blues were Navy Blue Jacket with "faded" Infantry Blue pants
