I really like my expandable hose (pocket hose). It gets bigger under pressure and then once the pressure is gone it shrinks back down to normal size again.

I had to try it and it exploded the second time I used it. Great idea, but bad construction.

I think this was invented around 1976 or so and don't worry kat, it'll fix itself before you know it, give it an hour or two ....

As the hose gets older it can take longer but there are "repair kits" you can get.

I went back and read some of the reviews on the expandable hose. It seems like the more you play around with it the greater the chance of it exploding. Handle with care if you want it to hold out longer.

If you keep a firm yet gentle grip with both hands, it seems to work the best.
