I am usually a research hound but for some reason didn't look in to this beforehand. Still waiting to talk to someone about the job done by Southern Maryland Paving.......I'm not happy to say the least. BBB will probably get a call from me pending the outcome.
I ended up going with Joseph Marini paving, they did a great job. But... my water meter got paved over, and the Cheasapeake Water company had to cut a square of the paving out to raise the water meter pit up to the top of the paving. An oops on the part of the paving company, but hey, it happens.
So I called Joe and the response was AWESOME! They apologized and are sending a crew out to repair the cutout hole. The best part -- they are doing it for free! Can't ask for more than that and I sure wish other contractors would be so reesponsive!

So they came out and paved right back over the meter ?
Asphalt is dense. So are you, apparently.
No, of course not, they are repairing it so the meter pit is flush with the paved surface.
