I really like my EGO battery powered stuff, but I also like my Stihl 2 stroke leaf blower.

That's amazing - and has to be a totally made up number. It's right about a thousand driving miles from Denver to LA.
If you drove averaging 50mph non-stop in your car, that would take about 20 hours.

Soooo - 20 hours in a car is equivalent to ONE HOUR running a leaf blower? I don't think so.

The exhaust from a car is actually very clean. A leaf blower is a two stroke, they never completely burn the fuel, generating a lot of NOx etc so that is entirely possible.

2 strokes are not as clean as 4 strokes, that's for sure, but with the right mix they don't smoke much and they have more power and rev up higher, they are also lighter. I wish I had a good old Lawn Boy 2 stroke lawn mower, the 4 stroke one doesn't like being leaned over to cut the ditchbank it doesn't get lubricated properly. But the very people who are complaining about my leaf blower are buying their solar panels, shoes, and multiple other things they are using from China, the worst polluter on this earth. So maybe they should just STFU.

2-strokes only smoke because of the oil in the mix. Just don't add oil to the gas. That will take care of the problem.
