I always like these things that try and make it seem like, it's a close call.

The moon is just under a quarter of a million miles away - and Venus at closest approach is about 25 million miles away.

So basically this thing is 16 times further away than THE MOON and just 1/6 the distance to the nearest planet.
It's not going to be close.
