Called "Time" (301 844 2525) last night while setting my clocks ahead and a message before the time told me: "As of June 1 Verizon will no longer offer time of day or weather forecast services". :jameo: First pay phones, now this? What's next? :1bdz:

Buy an atomic clock or be late.

Get caught in the rain on our bikes.

I'm serious about the second one. Every time before I ride I would call the weather line. If it said anything more than a 20% chance, I didn't ride. I guess I'll have to just hope Sue Palka is right the night before...

I'd hate to be the person who gets that number if it becomes available. Should it become available, maybe Clem will arrange for his home builder to get it or even better, one of his neighbors will arrange for him to get it. Sorry, just sayin'.

I haven't called that or any other "the time is now" numbers in years. The computer automatically synchronizes to the correct time when you log on (if your settings are set up that way). My cell phone automatically syncs to the correct time whenever the time changes. Heck, I looked this morning and my cordless telephone even has the correct time on it and I didn't set it! (neither did the Things) That's one I'm not sure how it happened. :twitch:

:lmao: I don't think those numbers will be going out to anyone anytime soon. It might go to some other Verizon service though. Weren't there some songs that had phone numbers in them and someone actually was given one of them by accident many years ago? They got soo many calls...
BEechwood 4-5789 you can call me up and have a date any old time...
Just call LOnesome 7-7203 (Country song).
