Instead of restricting someone's ability to do something when they turn 18, hold them accountable like everyone else.
Like 'everyone else'???? Like who? Who gets held accountable in this country? Bankers and insurers who've built empires that are no different than Bernie Maddofs other than they own enough politicians to do as they please and get away with it? Car companies that can be bailed out when they screw up? You think GM, as a company, is going to pay for choosing, CHOOSING to not fix the ignition switch issue because it would 'cost too much'? Bill Clinton lied to our faces. He got two terms. In the White House. Pat Tillman got killed by friendly fire and the army covered it up. Anyone pay for that? Benghazi, one of the most laughable, bold faced lies of all time? You can keep your insurance? The Kennedy's came to power on boot leg liquor money. A great many family empires were built in the US on criminal gain. Every time someone drugged up on psychiatric chemicals mows a bunch of people down, we want to execute a gun or some other inanimate object, or, at least ban it. Corporations, on the one hand, want cheap, illegal labor and could care less about unemployed US citizens. Our 'war on drugs' is ALL about reaping the profits of prohibition be it lawyers, corrupt cops, the jail system, corrupt judges, you name it. One of the primary things we did with 18 year olds was protect oil sheiks and the heroin trade.
