Atlantic City

Got back last night...had a great time! But agree its not the most upscale place I've ever been. Kinda reminded me a little of Primm Nevada or where Eddie takes Clark on Vegas Vacation ... Its definitely a lot different from Vegas...especially in regards to drinks/drinking...but once we figured out how it worked we did just fine. They got a pretty good amount of snow so we never really left the hotels other than to uber to dinner.

Found a really great restaurant there that we had a nice birthday dinner at. I would definitely go back to AC just to eat at this place the food was that good, and the prices OMG for the quality of the food and the restaurants ambiance it was an amazing steal! We ended up getting lobster mac & cheese, 2 bowls of clam chowder, 24 oysters of various styles (raw, buffalo, marinara, & fried) 2 orders of fried olives stuffed w/ blue cheese, 2 orders of crab cakes, smoked fish dip, popcorn, and 6 cocktails for $100 (w/ out tip) http://www.docksoysterhouse.com/menu.html

Glad you had a good time! I've only been to Atlantic City once, but Monello worked at one of the casinos when he graduated from culinary school.

Fried olives stuffed with blue cheese sounds AMAZING!!!

Come on guys seriously its that bad?? I mean it can't be that bad if this is where the birthday boy wanted to go!! We've technically never been so its going to be a first time for us. I'm imagining its similar to Ocean City???

It was that bad when I went in '81.
