The information Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth disclosed in the Signal chat of top Trump national security officials was highly classified at the time he wrote it, especially because the operation had not even started yet, according to a US defense official familiar with the operation and another source who was briefed on it afterward.

The updates Hegseth was giving in the Signal chat were the kind of real-time play-by-play that a commander would be giving to the president in a highly classified setting as the operation unfolded.

“These are operational plans that are highly classified in order to protect the service members,” the defense official said.

You have no idea what a War Plan is. There is no "War Plan" as you are referring to it. There was a "Strike Package" and no details of that package was revealed in all posts I've seen.

If your masters have given you detailed graphics to post please do. This would show the AC, bomb loads direction of approach and egress.

If you don't have any of that STFU.

But it is not approved by any agency for classified discussions. Top national security officials on Wednesday acknowledged that it does have security vulnerabilities — meaning that beyond Goldberg's presence on the chat, Hegseth was potentially risking the exposure of that sensitive operational information to foreign government hackers.

If Hegseth had not sent this text, the debate over this group thread would almost certainly have focused on the foreign policy debate it contains and the internal politics it reveals — not whether the Trump administration mishandled classified information and risked the lives of American service members."

It is notable that Hegseth is reassuring other officials about operational security while using an unofficial communication platform — which can pose a risk to operational security. This is a somewhat ironic proclamation to make given that, at this point, a reporter is reading the chat."

There is no war plan in there, nor operational details that compromise any fragment of the mission.

You have no indication in any of that of who is being struck, where, how, why or what objectives to be destroyed.

You'd have more of a lucky guess by throwing a dart at a globe than to get anything out of that.
