Attempt to lure child in vehicle / St. Mary's

Dakota

~~~~~~~
Remember the Van incident awhile back?
There have been a few and nearly all turn out unfounded due to some explanation. I think the incident should have been reported (which it was), this vehicle and people in it need to be located so they can find the answers the public needs.
Oh... it sounded like you were questioning why the police chose to put out the bulletin.
Maybe they thought he was "The Imp" from game of thrones and just wanted to paparazzi him.
I don't get how a 6 year old could confuse "are your parents around for directions" with "do you want to get in the car".....:shrug:
Remember, it wasn't the six year old who called the police, it was the parents. Things can and do get mixed in conversations when you are dealing with a six year old, the child may have said one thing and it was taken slight different. I agree, this should be report so things can get figured out but I don't like how people are automatically assuming the occupants of the car had bad intentions.
:yeahthat:
When I first moved into my development, I watched a young girl fall off her bike and she was laying near the road... I jumped out to help her up and her dad LOST it on me and screamed at me to get back in my car like I was some molester. He was up at the very top of his driveway, up a steep driveway, that's why I hadn't seen him. Not saying this is the same scenario, and I too would report it.
You forgot it's full of puppies, ice cream, balloons and candy. No reason, just because.
True, how could I forget! It's not "just because" -- I like all of those things and they make me happy.
Oh and I look like an older black dude now...I FINALLY got the surgery done. It's amazing how many doctors find surgeries like that "unethical." :rolleyes:
There is video footage of behavior that is "not normal" according to the parents/kid/police.
I'm curious what it is...but honestly, what's "normal" these days anyway?
The only one ASSuming is you.... Nobody said anything about "bad intentions".... Just want to question them. What's wrong with that?
You beat me to it.. I just re-read the article and all posts and the consensus is there is enough evidence to warrant the press release and wanting to bring them in for questioning.
What part of "attempt to lure child in vehicle" isn't assuming that there were bad intentions? Can that possibly be interpreted as having good intentions?
