Hi, I just purchased a new car and I'm looking to get the windows tinted, wanted to see if anyone has a good recommendation for a tint shop. I've seen past threads that had good things to say about D&G in L'town, Too Intense out of Waldorf, and a few others, but I wanted to see if anyone that has actually used these places can let me know how they did. I have an appt at Too Intense, but stopped in Tint Worx in Fowler Industrial Park on 235 (close to Oakville Elem.) and he'll do it in a little over an hour for $99 and claims to use "metaco" quality semi-metallic film...seems too cheap to be true. Anyone have any experience with any of these places?

Tint worx I have used on all 3 of my vehicles I had ! a 04 Saab 93 linear, 08 Dodge Durango and my 95 Civic Hatch . Which he did a great job ! Had nothing go wrong or anything ... Thats who I have used and would reccomend . He had more shops up near AFB . But closed them down and moved down here to open this one . From what he told me .

My husband and I had both of our cars windows tinted at Tint Worx about 3 1/2 years ago and they still look great! We were there almost 2 hours only because we just dropped in to get a price and he told us he would do our windows as soon as he was done with the car he working on. I would definately use them again!

We used Tint Worx for Pix's Volvo over a year ago. Zero problems.

35% is legal. But most law enforcement is too lazy to pull you over for just window tint. Most of the time they write you a ticket for that when they have you pulled over for something else. I've even had several friends of mine who are police officers tell me that. I have 20% on my truck and have been pulled over with it and nothing happened. I am actually going to go back to Tint Worx and get him to darken because he did such a good job last time.
Also, Trick Trucks in Lexington Park does tinting but when they did my father's truck a year ago it had little rivets at the top of the window. So I would be careful with them.

Tint worx is Mechanicsville.. Good price and quick. He tinted my windows about 5 months ago and did a very good job. No problems with the tint still to this day.
