After figuring out how to peel the things apart, the instructions say to place the rounded edge as close to your cuticle as possible, and starting at the base, smooth out the air bubbles. Once strip is adhered, (here's the best part), bend the remaining strip over the edge of your fingernail and rub back and forth to create a smooth perforated edge.
Whoever created these was sniffing too many nail polish fumes. There was nothing smooth about the edge and it did not "peforate" from the rubbing. :shrug:
The old fashioned way is much better than this
